Treaty of Union (United States of Belgium)
The Treaty of Union (French: Traité d'Union; Dutch: Verdrag van Unie) was a treaty that led to the creation of the United States of Belgium, a confederal republic of the territories of Brabant, Flanders, Hainaut, Namur, Limburg, Guelders, Mechelen, and Luxembourg. It came into effect on 11 January 1790.
