TREMEC (Formerly Transmission Technology Corporation - TTC) is an American manufacturer of automobile transmissions and drivetrain components, best known for their performance line of manual transmissions. The company has a sales, marketing and engineering office in Plymouth, Michigan, and production facilities in Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro in Mexico, Loppem (Bruges area) in Belgium, and Khed Taluka (Maharashtra) in India. TREMEC is a wholly owned subsidiary of KUO Group, which is based in Mexico City.[1]

Some of the most famous TREMEC products were originally designed by Borg-Warner, including the widely used T-56.
