Tradition (Michael Angelo Batio album)
Tradition is the third studio album by American heavy metal musician Michael Angelo Batio. Produced and entirely performed by Batio, it was released in 1998 by M.A.C.E. Music as a companion to the instructional video album Jam With Angelo.[1] Five of the seven main tracks (all but "I Can't Take It No More" and "Voices of the Distant Past") were later remixed and remastered for the 2004 compilation album Lucid Intervals and Moments of Clarity Part 2.[2] Three songs from Tradition have also been included on instructional video albums released by Metal Method – "China" on Performance (2006),[3] "Prog" on Speed Kills 3 (2007),[4] and "The Finish Line" on Performance (2006)[3] and Speed Lives 3: The Neo Classical Zone (2009).[5][6]
