Tourism in Taiwan
Tourism in Taiwan is one of the major industry and contributor to the economy of Taiwan. Tourism-related affairs are regulated by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications of the Republic of China.

Tourist arrival
The largest sources of tourist arrivals to Taiwan in 2013 were:[1]
- Mainland China, for 35.9% (2.874 millions)
- Japan, for 17.7% (1.421 millions)
- Hong Kong and Macau, for 14.8% (1.183 millions)
- United States, for 5.17% (0.414 millions)
- Malaysia, for 4.92% (0.394 millions)
Tourism revenue
The 2013 annual income for Taiwan from tourism-related industries topped at NT$ 366.8 million (US$ 12.3 billion), an increase of 4.7% from the previous year. The average daily spending of each tourist in 2013 was US$ 224.07, a decrease of 4.37% from the previous year.[2]
