Tostedt (Low Saxon/Low German Töst) is a municipality in the district of Harburg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately 35 km southwest of Hamburg, and 12 km southwest of Buchholz in der Nordheide.
Tostedt is also the seat of the Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") Tostedt. It is on the northern edge of the Lüneburg Heath.
