Torstein Hagen (born 1943) is the chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Viking River Cruises.

Founded in 1997, the company has become the world's leading river cruise line, operating a fleet of 41 vessels on the waterways of Europe, Russia, Ukraine, China, South-east Asia and Egypt.

Hagen has extensive experience in the shipping and cruise industries, and has served on the boards of Holland America Line and Kloster Cruise Ltd. He was formerly a partner of the management consulting firm McKinsey & Company in Europe and became the CEO of Det Bergenske Dampskibsselskab in 1976. Hagen earned a degree in physics at the Norwegian Institute of Technology and an MBA at Harvard University.”[1]
