Anthony "Tony" Evans (born 30 January 1966) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda and Footscray in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

Originally from East Ballarat, Evans began his St Kilda career in 1986, when he played eight games.[1][2] He made 10 appearances for St Kilda in 1987 and nine in 1988, then went to Footscray via the 1989 Pre-season Draft (pick 35).[2][3] His time at Footscray was short, Evans was delisted by Mick Malthouse due to a reoccurring knee injury, He returned home to East Ballarat, where he won five club best and fairest awards and was a premiership player. He currently lives in Ballarat.[4]

AFL Masters

Evans currently plays for the Ballarat Miners AFL Masters in the Victorian Country Masters Football League. In 2014, Evans represented Victoria Country at the National AFL Masters tournament in Adelaide.
