Tomopleura is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Borsoniidae.[2]

Description

The fusiform shell is light-built with a deep, reverse "U-shaped" anal sinus on the shoulder slope and a tall, straight-sided conical spire. The apex is truncate. The sculpture of the shell shows spiral keels with fine axial threads in the interstices. There is a spiral ridge at the lower columella. The radula is of the toxoglossan type.[3]
