Tomay Amay Mile is a Bengali television serial from GEC STAR Jalsha.
The story shows a 20 year old college student , Ushoshi Mitra, whose dream is to become an Indian Police Service officer, and Nishith Ghosh, a sweet-maker. While the program frequently shows Ushoshi "running after goons to punish them", in one storyline she is captured and when she later becomes pregnant, the storyline draws on the question of who is the father.[3] The Times of India calls the program a "megaserial".[4]
In May 2014, when Riju Biswas who had played Nishith left the show and was replaced by Gaurab Roy Chowdhury, there was a facebook campaign to get Biswas to return.[4] As part of the production, the show is filmed 12 episodes in advance of airing.[4]
