Tom O'Halleran is a former Republican member of the Arizona Senate, who represented the 1st District from 2007 to 2009. He was unseated by primary challenger Steve Pierce during the 2008 election cycle. Prior to that, he served in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2001 through 2006.
He now hosts a radio show on Thursday mornings on KAZM in Sedona, and is a strong advocate for securing a National Scenic Area for the Sedona Red Rocks.
He resigned from the Republican Party in 2014 and is standing as an Independent for State Senate in 2014.[1]
