Tom Barrett is a Republican Member-elect of the Michigan House of Representatives, elected in 2014 by defeating the incumbent, Democrat Theresa Abed, by 148 votes.[1]

Prior to his election to the House, Barrett served as a liaison from the Michigan Department of Treasury to the Governor's office.[2]
