Today at Wimbledon

Today at Wimbledon is a BBC TV show, showing highlights and discussion from the day's play at the Wimbledon Championships.

The show lasts for 60 minutes and is broadcast on BBC Two at 8:00 pm with a next day repeat at 10:30 am (6:00 am on BBC One at the weekend). However if play continues late into the evening the programme is not shown.

The programme was initially broadcast late evening on BBC1 and titled Wimbledon: Match of the Day but it moved to BBC2 in around 1990. It soon settled into a 9.30pm slot before being moved to its current 8pm slot in the late 2000s.

The programme is presented by John Inverdale, who is joined by a well-known retired tennis player such as Boris Becker or Pat Cash. John has presented the programme since 2000, replacing Sue Barker who became the anchor of the live coverage following Des Lynam's move to ITV Sport. Sue had hosted the programme since 1994, following Harry Carpenter's retirement. During the 1980s the programme was presented by Desmond Lynam before he took over in 1991 from Harry as presenter of the live coverage with Harry taking over as host of the highlights show.
