Toby Chu (Washington, D.C., 1977) is an American film composer. He was recently tapped to score the NBC drama series State of Affairs (TV series), starring Katherine Heigl and Alfre Woodard, which premiered on November 17, 2014.

Chu is the composer for Covert Affairs, the hit spy drama on USA Network. His previous scoring credits include two critically acclaimed series, Burn Notice and The Riches. Before embarking on solo projects, Chu worked with the Grammy-nominated composer Harry Gregson-Williams for over a decade.

In 2010, Chu collaborated with Daft Punk, arranging and orchestrating "Adagio for Tron" on the Tron: Legacy (2010) soundtrack. He has also been credited as a composer for additional music on the movies Déjà Vu (2006), The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), Domino (2005), and Team America: World Police (2004), among many others.

Other recent credits include the score for the indie drama Kelly & Cal, which stars Juliette Lewis, Jonny Weston, Josh Hopkins, Cybill Shepherd and Margaret Colin as well as Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return, a 3D animated film.
