Tiya Gandwani

Tiya Gandwani is an Indian model and actress. Tiya's birth name is Padma Gandwani. She was born and brought up in Paratwada, Amravati, Maharashtra, India.[1][2]

Early life

Since her childhood Tiya wanted to pursue a career in acting and was very dedicated towards learning the requisite skills for the profession. After completing her schooling from Amravati, she moved on to Pune for pursuing a Fashion Designing course from National Institute of Fashion Designing.

Career

Tiya started her career with choreography, modelling, ramp work, and commercials. She was chosen as one of the contestants in Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj in 2006. The same year, she made her acting debut in Saarthi, which aired on Star Plus. Tiya played the vampish role of Shefali. She has also made appearances in the series 'Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki' and Ramayan on NDTV Imagine. Now she is currently seen in Chandragupta Maurya (TV series) as Mihika

Personal life

Tiya has four sisters, of which two are older than she is. She also has one younger brother. One of Tiya's elder sisters, Preeti Gandwani, is also a television actress and in her recent interview she said that it was Tiya who inspired her to choose this profession.
