Tiruchi Siva
Tiruchi Siva (Tamil: திருச்சி சிவா) is a Member of the Parliament of India representing Tamil Nadu in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament from the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party. He is a Speaker and a Writer. He was elected as MP in the year 1996,2002,2007 and 2014

He moved the popular bill which is supported by all political parties in Rajya Sabha for Transgenders to ensure they get benefits akin reserved communities like SC/STs and is taking steps to see that they get enrolment in schools and jobs in government besides protection from sexual harassment.[1]
