Tintinan is an island barangay, one of the 44 barangays of the municipality of Ubay, in the province of Bohol, Philippines.
The barangay's total land area is 32 hectares (79 acres):[3] Tintinan is the smallest barangay in the municipality. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 623, so its population density of 1,900/km2 (5,000/sq mi) makes it the second most densely populated barangay in the municipality. In the last election, it had 436 registered voters, meaning that 70% of the population are aged 18 and over.[2]
Tintinan celebrates its annual fiesta on 29 September in honor of their patron saint.
Location
Located off the eastern coast of the municipality, Tintinan is completely surrounded by the Bohol Sea. To the north is Cuya and to the west is the municipality of Mabini. It is approximately 7 nautical miles (13 km; 8.1 mi) from the town center, Poblacion.
