Timmins High & Vocational School is an English-language public secondary school in Timmins, Ontario, affiliated with District School Board Ontario North East.[1] Known by the initials TH&VS, the school includes grades 9 to 12 and features a special enriched academic stream. It is the only high school in the City of Timmins to offer advanced placement classes. There are many extra-curricular sports teams such as volleyball, hockey, curling, basketball, competitive swimming (added for the 2012-13 school year), badminton, soccer, and football. There are also non-athletic extra-curricular organizations such as the Historical Society and Reach for the Top. The school also has a large technical department featuring a wide variety of shops.
