Time 107.5 is an Independent Local Radio station, based in Romford and broadcasting to East London and West Essex. The station strapline is "All Time Favourites" and the station is available on FM on 107.5 MHz in the broadcast area and online via their website. www.time1075.net
History
The station launched as Active FM and was bought by UKRD Group who ran the station as Soul City FM. Time FM is the third name used by the station when it was acquired by the London Media Company, a subdivision of the Sunrise Radio Group. In January 2014, Time 107.5 LTD entered Administration, along with its sister stations Time 106.6, Sunrise Radio and Kismat Radio. On 4 February 2014 they were acquired for an estimated £2m by Lyca Media II Ltd, a subdivision of Lycamobile.[1] The station has retained its branding as 'Time 107.5FM'.
Programming
Time 107.5 plays a variety of music from the '60s to modern day.
Regular featured programmes include:
- Time Tunnel; a daily 'guess the year' chart programme every morning from 9 am.
- Dance Decades; a specialist Dance & Soul programme hosted by :John Leech. Monday - Saturday from 7pm
Time 107.5 also features specialist music shows from the following guest presenters;
- Paul Hardcastle 8pm Mondays
- Eric Hall 4pm Sunday
- Daniel Lassman 12pm Saturday
