Tim Johnson (born May 15, 1962) was the first head football coach for the Avila University Eagles located in Kansas City, Missouri, a position he held for five seasons (one JV and four Varsity), from 2000 until 2004. He was a two time All - American Linebacker at William Jewel College.
His overall coaching record at Avila was 13 wins, 28 losses, and 0 ties. This ranks him first at Avila in terms of total wins and first at Avila in terms of winning percentage.[1]
In 2004, he took Avila to the Wheat Bowl in its first bowl game, losing to Midland Lutheran College by a score of 31–9.
