Tilottama Municipality is a town in Rupandehi District in the Lumbini Zone of southern Nepal. The municipality was established merging the existing Shankar Nagar, Aanandaban, Karaiya, Makrahar, Tikuligadh and Madhabaliya Village Development Committees in 18 May 2014.[1][2]
At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 6894 people living in 1193 individual households.[3]

To promote local culture, Aanandaban has one FM radio station, Radio Lumbini at 96.8 MHz, which is a community radio station.
