Ticketline is a primary ticket sales and distribution company based in the United Kingdom, which service connects clients to customers by providing a secure platform which can process payments, produce tickets and distribute worldwide.
The company takes no revenue from advertised ticket prices, and earnings are generated from flexible booking fees administered on top of the face value amount.
From September 2009 Ticketline introduced a tiered e-ticketing system available for all new events.
Venue management
Ticketline runs on purpose-built software created in-house called Ticketware.
Ticketware can be rolled out and installed in venues allowing on site sales and full reporting. In 2009 Ticketware was adopted by Band on the Wall.[1]
Ticketware is free-of-charge for venues to install. The company offer a box office package which includes the Ticketware software, thermal ticket printers and barcode scanners. Revenue is generated solely from flexible booking fees, the cost for the hardware is absorbed by Ticketline against potential onsite sales.
