Ticia Gara (born October 25, 1984 in Budapest, Hungary) is a Hungarian chess woman grandmaster. She won the Hungarian Women Chess Championship in 2006 and 2007. In the 2009 Women's Championship she and her sister Anita were tied for first place, with Anita receiving the title on tie-break.[1] Gara played for the Hungarian women's team in the 2010 and 2012 Chess Olympiads.[2]
