Tibor Rudas
Tibor Rudas (February 6, 1920 – September 8, 2014), was a Hungarian born entrepreneur, known for conceptualising Luciano Pavarotti performances in sports arena settings and later signing the "Three Tenors" José Carreras, Plácido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti to appear in a series of worldwide arena concerts.[1][2][3] He was born in Budapest, Hungary and was imprisoned in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp during World War II by the Nazis.[4] He died in Santa Monica, California.
