Thysanolaena is a genus of Asian and Papuasian plants in the grass family, the only genus in the tribe Thysanolaeneae.[3][4][1][5]

Species

The only recognized species is Thysanolaena latifolia, native to China (Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Taiwan, Yunnan) Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. It is also naturalized in Mauritius, Seychelles, Gambia, Tanzania, Hawaii, California, the West Indies, and Brazil.[1][2][6][7]
