The Pygmy (Moth) (Thyris fenestrella) is a moth of the Thyrididae family. It is found in Central and Southern Europe.

Lateral view

The wingspan is 15–20 mm. Adults are on wing from May until mid-August.

The larvas feed on Clematis vitalba, Sambucus nigra, Arctium lappa and are found in July and August. They have two generations a year, hybernating as a chrysalis.
