Thor O. Hannevig
Thor O. Hannevig (1891–1975) was a Norwegian shipmaster and factory owner. During the Norwegian Campaign in 1940 he was in command of an army unit called Telemark Infantry Regiment, and this regiment was able to withstand the German forces until 5 May. Hannevig later got a legendary heroic status, and was subject to the film The Last Lieutenant from 1993.[1][2]
