Thomas Whetham
Thomas Whetham was an English lawyer and politician who sat in the House of Commons in 1624.
Whetham was the son of John Whetham of Drimpton, Dorset and his wife Edith Peare. He became Recorder of Chichester.[1] In 1624, he was elected Member of Parliament for Chichester.[2] He may have been elected MP for Chichester in 1621 for the preceding parliament.[3]
Whetham married Dorothy Hooper at Burstock on 15 November 1586.[4] They had five sons including Nathaniel who was a parliamentary commander in the Civil War.[1]
