Thomas Lothian (December 14, 1928) was a Wisconsin politician, legislator, and college professor.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Lothian graduated from Cleveland Heights High School before receiving a B.A. from Ohio State University in 1953. He also received a M.A. in chemistry from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Lothian was a college professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After serving in local political offices, Lothian served in the Wisconsin State Assembly for eight years.[1][2][3] In March 2010, Lothian announced his retirement.[4] He was succeeded by Rep. Tyler August.[5]
