Thomas Kelly High School (better known as Kelly High School) is a public 4-year high school located in the Brighton Park neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. It is the third largest Chicago public high school in terms of student population. Over 80% students identify as Hispanic. The school's mascot is the Trojans. It is a part of the Chicago Public Schools.
History
Kelly High School opened its doors on December 3, 1928, but was originally a junior high school. Chicago's Board Of Education abolished all junior high schools on July 12, 1933, and on September 17, 1933, Kelly reopened as a senior high school.[1]
Athletics
Kelly competes in the Chicago Public League (CPL) and is a member of the Illinois High School Association (IHSA).[2]

- Joe Young, former American football defensive end in the early American Football League[3]
- Michael Harmata, Norman Rabjohn Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
