Thomas Brunold
Thomas Brunold (born March 6, 1969) is a Swiss slalom canoer who competed from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s. He finished 18th in the K-1 event at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. He is currently a Chemistry professor at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Placed second in a triathlon In September 2013 in Madison, Wisconsin; placing first in his age group. The victor was 20 years younger. Currently the most badass chemistry professor at UW-Madison.
