Thesyre
Thesyre is a band from the province of Québec in Canada. Formed in 1995, Thesyre incorporate elements of black metal, thrash metal, punk rock and industrial music. Eric Syre, as a solo artist under the name Thesyre, contributed to various tribute albums before releasing his own material.
A first official demo recording was released in 2002, followed by a self-titled full-length in 2003. The band's second album, Duality, was released in 2005. Thesyre signed a two-album deal with French label Osmose Productions for the release of its third and fourth albums, Exist! (2006) and Resistance (2009). They then parted ways with Osmose and decided to continue as an independent act. The band later uploaded its entire discography and made it available for free in digital form through its website.
