Theodore Roosevelt V (born c. 1976) is an American businessman and environmentalist. His parents are investment banker Theodore Roosevelt IV (born 1942) and Constance Lane Rogers. He is the great-great-grandson of Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States of America.
Until 2008, Roosevelt worked at the investment bank Lehman Brothers;[1] he was a Senior Vice President in fixed income at its successor, Barclays Capital. Roosevelt joined New York based hedge fund Goldentree Asset Management in late 2010 where he currently serves as a Managing Director.[2] Roosevelt is a board member of the New York League of Conservation Voters[3] and is the Vice Chair of ecoAmerica.[2] He was an early supporter of President Barack Obama's environmental policies.[4] At 32, Roosevelt married Serena Clare Torrey on September 12, 2008,[5] just two days before Lehman declared bankruptcy. He graduated from Deerfield Academy and Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
He has competed in multiple full length Ironman races, including the 2012 US Championship in New York and the 2012 World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.[6]
