"Then the Morning Comes" is a song by American band Smash Mouth. It was released in September 1999 as the third single from the band's second studio album, Astro Lounge. The song was a successful follow up to the band's international hit "All Star", peaking at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 2 in Canada.[1] In comparison to "Walkin' on the Sun", "Then the Morning Comes" also has a 1960s-inspired psychedelic vibe.

Music video

The music video was directed by Scott Marshall. In this video, Steve Harwell wakes up at noon and gets ready to go. First, Harwell meets the people at the beach and the band plays there. Next he meets his girlfriend (played by Stacy Sanches) at the cinema. Then he goes to a bar in a hotel and meets her again and the band plays there. In the end they wake up and Harwell tosses his alarm clock on the floor.
