Thembile Skweyiya

Thembile Skweyiya is a judge in the Constitutional Court of South Africa.[1] He was appointed to the bench in 2003 by Thabo Mbeki.

Constitutional Court Justice Thembile Lewis Skweyiya attended primary school in Cape Town, however later on, he attended boarding school at the Healdtown Institution in the Eastern Cape where he matriculated in the year 1959. Justice Skweyiya holds a BSocSci degree from the University of Natal (1963) and an LLB degree from the same university (1967).

Justice Skweyiya retired from the bench of the Constitutional Court of South Africa on the 5th of May 2014 at the age of 73.
