The Witch is a 2015 horror film directed by Robert Eggers. It won the Directing Award in the U.S. Dramatic category at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, where it premiered to critical acclaim, and was acquired by A24 Films for a 2015 theatrical release.[1]
