The Way of LIVE (LIVEの方法 LIVE no Hōhō) is the third remix album by P-MODEL. It is composed of remixes of P-MODEL songs from their third to their eighth albums (with the exception of SCUBA, which was entirely remixed and re-released the following year in a different style as SCUBA RECYCLE) made in the style of the "Defrosted" P-MODEL, arranged by P-MODEL keyboardist Hikaru Kotobuki. The album was mixed and mastered to bring out harshness and loudness, trying to replicate the tension and the intensity of the live shows of the "Defrosted" P-MODEL. The album was remastered by Hirasawa and re-released on the Ashu-on [Sound Subspecies] in the solar system box set on 10 May 2002; it was put on CD 15, with OPENING SE 1992 (the song which would open P-MODEL concerts in 1992), the REBEL STREET version of FU-RU-HE-HE-HE and the "Countless Answers" version of ATOM-SIBERIA.[1] Remixes were also made by the "Revised" P-MODEL for their shows, but they didn't get a release like the "Defrosted" P-MODEL remixes did; the ENDING ERROR video release (and, to a lesser extent, the other two video releases of the "Revised" P-MODEL), which is composed mostly of older P-MODEL songs performed in the "Revised" style, somewhat served as a spiritual successor to The Way of LIVE. The Way of LIVE got a proper sequel in 2014 with The Method of the LIVE 2: The Magic for introduction.
