The Virgin Suicides is a score by French music duo Air for the film of the same name by Sofia Coppola. The album was released in February 2000. There was a separate soundtrack released, which included music from Heart, Gilbert O'Sullivan and Todd Rundgren. The album was nominated for Best Soundtrack at the 2001 BRIT Awards.[8] The French edition of Rolling Stone magazine named this album the 49th greatest French rock album (out of 100).[9]
