The Song of Everlasting Sorrow is a 1995 Chinese novel by Wang Anyi. It was translated into English in 2008 by Michael Berry and Susan Chan Egan.[1]
The novel follows a Shanghai woman Wang Qiyao from the 1940s to the 1980s.

In addition, the English translation was awarded Honorable Mention at the 2009 MLA Lois Roth Award for an outstanding translation of a literary work.
