The Singleton is an upcoming British drama romance thriller film, directed by Paul J. Lane.[1] The film will star Mario Babic, Karen Fairfax, Jadey Duffield, Shane Hart, Paul J. Lane, Sally Bosman, Gillian Broderick,Scott Lincoln, Tony Fadil, Julie Pettite, Trevor Clarke, Mark Kempson, Kerry Hurst, Alan Lambert, Carl T. James, Marc De Ver and Lois J. Rose. It is set to be released on March 31, 2015 in England.[2]
Plot
Set in London, United Kingdom and Malaga, Spain, Kudos (Mario Babic), an indigent and daring artist crawls through perilous terrain when he finds himself interviewed by a psychologist, after an unusual encounter with a young and troubled women, as a web of secrets and unstated assumptions begin to unfold.[3]

Pre-production
On July 8, 2014, the production company announced that further cast announcements of The Singleton will be done on July 31,2014.[4]
Casting
On March 31, 2014, the studio announced that Mario Babic will be playing the male lead role of Kudos, the protagonist of the story.[5][6] On September 7, 2014, it announced that Karen Fairfax will join Mario Babic in The Singleton by playing Alexa, the female lead role of the story.[7] Between July 31, 2014 and September 27, 2014 most roles for the film have been cast, which include Shane Hart as Jeremiah, Jadey Duffield as Karma, Kerry Hurst as Layla, Gillian Broderick as Sister Mary, Trevor Clarke as Uncle, Scott Lincoln as Father Flint, Sally Bosman as Nanna, Carl T. James as Father Kerry, Mark Kempson as Tim, Julie Pettite as Safro, Alan Lambert as John and Lois J. Rose as Scarlett.[8]
Filming
Filming began on September 27, 2014 in and around Malaga, Spain,[9] where shooting would last until October 9, 2014.[10] On October 29,2014 the Film crew and actors returned back from Plymouth, England where additional scene venues have been completed at the Barbican Live Lounge and Art2Glass Gallery.[11] On November 2, 2014 the Film crew completed the Nanna and Grandad scene in Kent, England.[12] Further filming to be continued.[13]
Release
The film will be released in 2015.
