The Shadowlands is a children's fantasy novel by Emily Rodda. It was published in 2002 by Scholastic.[1] It is the third and final book in the Deltora Shadowlands series, the second series in the Deltora series. It is preceded by The Isle of Illusion.

Summary

Lief, Barda, and Jasmine continue their quest to reunite the three pieces of the Pirran Pipe. They collect the third and final piece of the pipe on the island of Keras. From there, they go into the Shadowlands, the realm of the evil Shadow Lord, and free the Deltoran prisoners using the Pirran Pipe.

The main characters in The Shadowlands are Lief, Barda, and Jasmine. The main antagonist is the Shadow Lord.
