The Russell is an historic apartment house at 49 Austin Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. It was designed by Barker & Nourse and built in 1894 at a cost of $25,000. The Richardsonian Romanesque structure was one of a large number of apartment houses built to the west and south of the city's central business district, many of which were torn down during redevelopment activities in the 20th century.[2]
The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.[1]
