The Remixes Volume 06 is a compilation remix album featuring tracks which are all remixed by The Chemical Brothers.
History and Release
The album was released on 20 September 2005 by Disky's dance music label, Disky Dance. Although somewhat unofficial, Disky are a quite well known record label in the UK, releasing compilation albums.
The release featured 11 remixes of other songs, remixed by The Chemical Brothers. In 2008, independent label 'Harmless' released The Chemical Brothers Remixs, another compilation of 10 more remixes.
The '06' in the title refers to, not that the album was released shortly before the year 2006, but because it is the 6th in a series called 'The Remixes'.
