The Post is a student-run newspaper in Athens, Ohio, that covers Ohio University and Athens County. It publishes five days a week while the university is in session and distributes 10,000 copies.[2] Though it operates from a university building, the paper remains editorially independent. It is located in the Baker University Center on campus. It launched a new website, thepostathens.com, in August 2014.

History

The Post was launched in 1912 as the Green and White. The Post is not affiliated with the Scripps College of Communication but offers a way for its students to earn valuable experience.
