The Peppermints is an Italian/Sammarinese girl band. They represented San Marino at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta.[1]
Members
- Anita Simoncini: Anita was born on 14 April 1999 and is from Montegiardino, San Marino. She is the first Sammarinese artist to represent the country at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She will also represent San Marino at the adult Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna.[2] She is the only member of the group from San Marino.
- Rafaella Perniola: Rafaella was born on 8 March 2000 and is from Palagiano, Italy. She is the little sister of Michele Perniola.
- Greta Doveri: Greta was born on 17 May 2000 and is from Pisa, Italy. She is the youngest member of the group.
- Arianna Ulivi: Arianna was born on 14 October 1999 and is from Forlì, Italy.
- Sara Dall'Olio: Sara was born on 29 January 1999 and is from Cervia, Italy.
After Junior Eurovision
On 27 November 2014, SMRTV announced that Anita would represent San Marino at Eurovision 2015. She will sing a duet with Michele Perniola, San Marino's Junior Eurovision 2013 representative and brother of bandmate Rafaella.[3]
Despite competing at Eurovision without the other Peppermints, Anita said in December 2014 that the group plans to stay together.[4] In January, the group officially announced that it will go on tour together in 2015.[5]
