The Oath (行医) is a medical drama produced by Wawa Pictures. The drama follows a Chinese physician and a Western doctor on a complex medical case.
The series premiered in Singapore on 25 October 2011, on Mediacorp Channel 8. This drama is the first Wawa Pictures drama to be broadcast on Channel 8.
This drama will be encored from 16 May 2012 at 5.30pm. It will end on 12 June 2012.
Plot
The Oath tells the story of 2 medical practitioners and their vastly different approaches to treating patients. The protagonists, a Chinese physician (Christopher Lee (Singaporean actor) ) and a Western doctor (Jesseca Liu) , cannot be more different though their paths are destined to cross. Their keen competition begins when both get involved in a complex medical case. After working together, love slowly blossoms. However, Min Fei (Jesseca Liu) is diagnosed with cancer and Guo En (Christopher Lee (Singaporean actor)) gets into an accident and loses his memory, completely forgetting who Min Fei is just when she needs him the most. What would happen to this pair of doctors when misfortune befalls them? Will their love be able to pull through all these trials and tribulations?

Star Awards 2012 nominations
- Christopher Lee is nominated for the Best Actor award, however the award goes to Tay Ping Hui in Bountiful Blessings.
- Chen Shucheng clinched the Best Supporting Actor award. This is his first award in the acting category.
- Although Yvonne Lim is a cameo in the drama, she is surprisingly nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award. However, the award goes to Vivian Lai in Love Thy Neighbour.
- The theme song 救命 by Anthony Neely is nominated for the Best Drama Theme Song award, however the award goes to the Devotion theme song.
- Christopher Lee is nominated for the Favourite Male Character Award, however the award goes to Elvin Ng in C.L.I.F..
- Jesseca Liu is nominated for the Favourite Female Character Award, however the award goes to Rui En in A Tale of 2 Cities.
