The Noise Made by People is the debut album by the British indie electronic band Broadcast. It was released in 2000 by Warp Records. The album failed to chart in the United Kingdom or the United States but was released to critical acclaim.[1]

The music online magazine Pitchfork Media placed The Noise Made by People at number 177 on their list of top 200 albums of the 2000s.[6] "Echo's Answer", the first single released from the album, was also featured at number 178 on the Pitchfork Media list of top 200 tracks of the 1990s.[7]
