The Naming Group, LLC is a New York City-based naming agency that develops corporate naming strategy, product and company brand names.[1]
Company History
The Naming Group was founded by Nina Beckhardt in 2009.[1] Beckhardt was previously President and Creative Director of Namebase and has appeared as a guest naming expert on Autoline Detroit.[2] She also spoke on the topics of naming and innovating brand language at the 2011 FutureTrends conference.[3]
The Naming Group has developed notable brand names, including Venture for Capital One[1] and the Chevrolet Sonic name for General Motors,[4] and has consulted on naming for clients including Walmart, Target, Puma,[5] Sony,[1] Capital One and General Motors.
