The Mello Hippo Disco Show is a single released by Amorphous Androgynous, a pseudonym of The Future Sound of London, in 2002 from the album The Isness. The release is especially notable as the band's first original single since 1997's We Have Explosive EP, and despite the shift in sound towards the psychedelic, follows the classic FSOL style of singles spread over several movements.[2][3][4] Among the tracks are Life's A Flow, which was originally released on the Abbey Road mix of The Isness[5] and the long-awaited Trying To Make Impermanent Things Permanent, originally premiered in 1997[6]
