The Marvelous Missing Link: Lost is an album by Insane Clown Posse. It is the first part of the 3rd Joker Card in the second Deck of the Dark Carnival Saga. It was released on April 28, 2015 on Psychopathic Records.
Background
First word about the album was in early to mid 2013, with Violent J stating "this album is going to be 'the album', ya know?" In early February 2014, with an interview with Faygoluvers.net, ICP was asked about the next Joker Cards title and what it looks like. They said they definitely have the title, and were putting on the finishing touches on the final print of what it will look like.[1] ICP released the name and face of the album on their 20th anniversary Hallowicked show, on October 31, 2014.[2] The album is scheduled to be released on psychopathic Records on April 28, 2015. In a February 21, 2015 interview with Billboard, ICP said that "Lost" is like not having God in your life, always worrying about death, and looking at the world through negative lenses." He stated the "Lost" album is "more serious, has no comedy, and had a lot of darker beats".[3] He also stated in the interview, Mike E. Clark will not be producing this album,[4] so they will get others in to make beats and produce the album. Violent J stated he gave 5 Juggalos a copy of the album to review, and 3 of 5 stated that it is scarier than Hell's Pit. Violent J has also said that Lost is already completed.[3]

It was also stated that there were enough songs to be an EP, and it will be released on the groups tour. They will also release the outtakes of the recording sessions through their online store, hatchet gear. J also stated that work began on the albums after ICP finished up work on the Dark Lotus album The Mud, Water, Air & Blood, which was recorded from February 2014 through June 2014, and the debut album of their other group The Killjoy Club's album Reindeer Games, which was recorded from March 2014 through July 2014.
