The Long Road is the fourth studio album by Canadian rock band Nickelback, released on September 23, 2003.

The album was certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA in March 2005 and it had sold 3,591,000 copies as of April 2011.[5] It has sold over 5 million copies worldwide and in the year 2003, was only the album to have sold over 2 million copies worldwide.[6] It debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200 and was ranked #157 on Billboard's 200 Albums of the Decade.[7]

It is the band's last album with Ryan Vikedal as drummer.

Country music singer Travis Tritt released a cover version of the track "Should've Listened" on his August 2007 album, The Storm.

The songs "Flat on the Floor" and "Believe It or Not" are featured in the game FlatOut 2.

The Long Road was recorded at famed Greenhouse Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia. Music executive Bryant K. Oden served as A&R Consultant to Greenhouse Studios during the recording process of The Long Road.
